Judaism is a complex, intricate tradition. Studying it anew as an adult opens one’s spirit and enriches one’s intellect. Look for exciting programs, classes, and trips that will expand your awareness of Jewish culture and values. Past activities include bus and car trips to Jewish New York and Philadelphia, lectures, theatrical and musical performances, a series of Israeli Dancing Classes, Yoga, Tai Chi, museum exhibits, Hebrew reading classes, Yiddish singing, and more. If you have ideas on new classes or want more information please call Esther Bliss. Esther can be reached at blisspharm@comcast.net or 856-764-7308.

Adult Bar/Bat Mitzvah

If you didn’t have or take the opportunity to become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah as a teen (or if you would like a refresher course), it’s not too late. Join an Adult Bar and Bat Mitzvah class and be called to the Torah as a Bar/Bat Mitzvah and celebrate this joy of Jewish accomplishment. The Shabbat Services when our adult class becomes Bar and Bat Mitzvah are some of the most moving services because all present know how much effort and time goes into the preparation, especially with all the other demands for time in our adult lives. An Adult Confirmation track is also available. If you are interested in this unique opportunity, please contact Rabbi Marmon at 856-829-0658.
