Volunteer some time and be a Pen Pal, a Telephone Reading Partner or a Teen Phone Mentor with youth at migrant camps. Migrant Worker Outreach is an organization that Temple Sinai has partnered with over the years. We are looking for volunteers ages 13 and older to lend a hand.  Volunteers will not have direct contact with migrant youth, only phone contact.

There will be phone orientation/mini-training for all volunteer phone partners and a simple instruction sheet for pen pals, with themes of the week people can opt to write about if they need help getting started.

Community volunteers who participate in this program must have access to either email or Facebook messaging.
