NexTrexplasticfilmrecyclingchallenge

 

For the next 6 months, 

place your plastic bags and certain other plastic film items into the bins in the Religious School.  If we meet our goal of collecting at least 500 pounds of plastic bags and film by mid-October, we’ll be awarded a beautiful recycled composite Trex bench for our garden!

 

 

All Plastic MUST be clean, dry and free  of food residue.

 

 

We also CANNOT use the following items: 

 

  • Degradable/compostable bags or film packaging
  • Pre-washed salad mix bags
  • Pet food bags
  • Hot dog or meat wrap packaging
  • Six-pack rings
  • PPE: Gloves, masks, or protective wear
  • Grape, cherry, etc. bags
  • Lamination film
  • Silage and hay bags
  • Backyard ice rinks
  • Vinyl shower curtains or tablecloths
  • Bedding or linen packaging
  • Shiny, crinkly films like floral wrap
  • Pool covers
  • Resealable granola bags

Join Temple Sinai in collecting backpacks and school supplies for school aged children in need.  This year backpacks will be given to

The Gloucester County Special Services School District.

 

 

Needed items include:

BACKPACKS

Pens, Pencils and erasers

Markers & Crayons

Highlighters,

Binders, Notebooks and Folders,

Scissors & Glue

Planners, Calculators, etc.

 

Place in the foyer of the Fineblum Chapel by August 26
