Our annual Mitzvah(מִצוָה – good deed/commandment) day took place the 3rd weekend of January, with a hundred hands-on volunteers making dog biscuits, blankets, sandwiches, and hundreds of care packages, known as blessing bags by Kaleb Dressin (of beloved memory). They were created for a local shelter. Kind notes were written for older members of the congregation and welcome Shabbat baskets were created for new members. Kids as young as 2 and adults as old as 95 were in attendance making Mitzvot and celebrating Martin Luther King Jr Day of service with the nation. Kol Hakavod (כל הכבוד, all the honor) to our volunteers and leaders who make such an important contribution to our kihila (קהילה)!

Dear Temple Sinai Family.
Thank you so much for dedicating Mitzvah day in the loving memory of Kaleb z”l. Kaleb was a kind, loving, caring, amazing kid who loved making blessing bags and giving to others. He would have loved all of the activities to help animals especially dogs- his favorite. Thank you for showing kindness to others in his honor and memory.
Love,
Rachel, Daniel, and Jacob Dressin
