Shalom friends,

I know everyone is feeling utterly heartbroken over the horrific news out of Israel this past week. Not a moment goes by that we aren’t holding our Israeli brothers and sisters in our hearts and praying for their safety and security with all our might.

But in these uncertain times of rising hatred, I just want to emphasize how seriously we are taking security at Temple Sinai. Besides all our current security measures, there will be an increased presence by the Cinnaminson Police Department at times that coincide with our programming. Please note that a Jewish Federation Security Briefing on Wednesday indicated that, while there may be scattered anti-Israel demonstrations on Friday in the U.S, none were identified in our area.  They recommend that we continue “business as usual” with an emphasis on security measures as there have been no regional specific threats.

The most important act we can do in support of Israel is to live our Jewish lives proudly. Please consider joining us in person on Friday and Saturday for Shabbat Services so that we can pray, discuss, and be together as one Jewish family.
